Destiny 2 Updates: March May Bring Release Date and Spring Updates for the Prequel

Destiny 2 is the sequel to the very successful MMO shooter. Activision confirmed that the game is set to release sometime in the third quarter of this year. The official release date could be available this week!

A previous report suggested that a new leak showed Crucible Master Lord Shaxx fighting off the Cabal Red Guard. The toy set was seen on Amazon by a Mega Bloks leak of a new toy set that was available too early.

In the report, the toy's description stated that there would be a clash between a "Bruiser's crushing strength and a master swordsman's skill." The story also added that "a legendary warrior faces his greatest contest yet in the Tower hangar" and "Wielding his Raze-Lighter, hero of the Crucible Lord Shaxx prepares to pit his blade against the furious cleavers of a Cabal Red Guard."

According to a new report by Daily Star, GamesRadar's Destiny Guru David Houghton believes that if the leaked info is legit, it means some "pretty head things" for the new sequel. This leak also connects with the site's report about the sequel shaping up. Sources revealed that the game will include big, proper, and open-world planets; multiple towns and settlements; and will basically be a more traditional role-playing game.

While Mega Bloks did confirm the toys on their Twitter page, there was no actual confirmation from Bungie or Activision. Activision CEO Hirshberg did earlier express that Bungie is doing a good job in keeping fans passionate and invested on the prequel while developing Destiny 2.

In another report by WWG, the website believes that the game will drop sometime this fall. Most recently, Bungie's website provided that David "Deej" Dague will be returning to action and could provide some useful tips soon in terms of what to expect from the much-awaited sequel.

The notes reveal that "Deej" could draw up a roadmap of what to expect for March. Additionally, maybe new spring updates about the original Destiny could also be revealed by "Deej."

Destiny 2 will launch probably in the third quarter of this year. It will be release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and maybe even the PC.
