The processors are now available for pre-order and will launch on March 2. The chip also comes in three varieties ranging in price and capability.

The new processor was designed by AMD to perform well at high loads and be well-matched with the latest hardware in PC gaming. For that to happen, the company had to create a new chipset for the processors, the X370 and X300, and the latest socket, the AM4.
