The 2018 Ford Expedition now has a cable TV, thanks to the Slingbox System. Passengers can now watch their favorite shows without signal interruptions on the road.

Connectivity. The 2018 Ford Expedition's cable TV is just a part of the connectivity project of the company. Apparently, Ford will also offer a Wi-Fi hotspot options that can simultaneously support 10 devices around 50 feet from the car.

TV Screens. There will also be two 8-inch screens embedded in the back of the front seat headrests of the car. To use this, Passengers can use their SingPlayer mobile app, available in iOS and Android, that is connected to a Slingbox system, Tech Crunch reported.

Passengers can also watch similar of different shows on the screen. Aside from the mobile app, they can control the screen using screen buttons and remote controls.

Headphone Connectors. The screen also comes with a headphone connector that allows multiple viewing per display. According to Roadshow, passengers can stream videos using Miracast, an HDMI wireless connection. 

Slingbox. The Slingbox runs using the Slingbox System. Through the Slingbox system, live satellite and cable feed can pass on the 2018 Ford Expedition's Cable TV.

This device works using WiFi or Ethernet.To use the system on another device, all users have to do is connect it to a streamer and the device will instantly have an internet connection, Slingbox's official website explained. 

DVD Player and Charging Slots. The 2018 Ford Expedition has a DVD player and HDMI slots for gaming to avoid kid's boredom. It also has a lot of USB slots for charging problem's that passengers might face on the road.

The new addition to Ford cars also has an active and passive safety systems. It also has an aerodynamic built and push-button seat that allows seats to be folded.

The 2018 Ford Expedition was launched at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show. It will reportedly be available in the U.S. this fall.
