Google Nexus 7 Updates: Specifications And Features; Nexus To Be VR- Ready

Google Nexus 7 is all set to be launched. This is the most advanced version of Google's tablet. It is expected that the Nexus 7 will be launched by the end of 2017.

Google Nexus 7 is equipped with Android 7.1.1 Nougat and this is a much faster version of Android. The new operating system will boost the power of the device.

The display of the device is reported to be very good as the tablet will utilize AMOLED technology with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440. The device will come with a metal body, a 16-MP camera and also a fingerprint scanner.

Google Nexus 7 will be using the latest chip from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 825. The device will be run with the help of a 6 GB RAM and will have a storage capacity of 64 GB, reported International Business Times.

The support that Nexus renders to Virtual Reality is what makes it better than the other devices. Google has already made some of its smartphones VR-ready and it is expected to do the same for its future tablets, including the Nexus 7.

Google's tablet has been diminishing in popularity over the years. Yet, Google has revamped its tablet and has come up with Google Nexus 7. This is the device that could alter the direction in popularity that the Google device has taken, reported Mobile n Apps.

It is still not known as to when Google will release the Nexus 7. However, it is expected that the revamped device will be launched before the end of the year. It is reported that the Pixel 2 will also be released along with Nexus 7.

It is now up to Nexus 7 to gain back the popularity that Google tablets had. It had gradually diminished over the years. However, the features being promising, Google might steal a good market share after Nexus 7 is launched.
