2017 Yamaha XSR900: Neo-Retro Style Motorcycle, Authentic And Thrilling Riding Performance

The 2017 Yamaha XSR900 is a well-engineered neo‑retro style motorcycle, which provides a thrilling and timeless authentic motorcycling performance. It comes with Titanium Blue color, and it will be priced $9,499 from February 2017.

The motorcycle is fuelled by an 847cc liquid-cooled DOHC inline three-cylinder with four- stroke and 12 valves engine. It has a bore and stroke of 78.0mm x 59.1mm with the compression ratio is 11.5:1.

According to Cycle World, it is equipped with Yamaha Fuel Injection with YCC-T for its enhanced fuel delivery. It also highlights Transistor Controlled Ignition (TCI) and a six-speed with a multi-plate assist-and-slipper wet clutch for its engine transmission.

The 2017 Yamaha XSR900 comes with a 41mm inverted fork front suspension with an adjustable preload and rebound damping that measures 5.4-inches. It also features a single shock rear suspension with an adjustable preload and rebound damping, which measures 5.1-inches.

The sportbike provides exceptional braking power with an enhanced the security of ABS. It has dual 298mm discs front brakes and 245mm disc rear brakes, as noted by Motorcycle News.

The motorcycle is equipped with 120/70ZR17 front tire and an 180/55ZR17 rear tire. The Superbike measures a dimension of 81.7 inches length x 32.1 inches width x 44.9 inches height. The seat height measures 32.7 inches and the wheelbase is 56.7 inches.

The XSR900 blends and exposed with aluminum details frame. It has retro-influenced bodywork and enhanced stepped seats. It boasts the cutting edge designs that combine a classic heritage with modern performance. It features the ride-by-wire YCC-T ride-by-wire YCC-T with an enhanced an adjustable D-MODE throttle response that perfect combines with the adjustable Traction Control System, which provides the ride to a better riding experience.

The 2017 Yamaha XSR900 features an advanced assist-and-slipper clutch unit, which gives both greater clamping force and back-torque reduction. It allows for the use of lighter clutch springs for a better aggressive deceleration. The sportbike gives its rider the excellent thrust ideal for off-road riding.
