In an interview with a paper publication, the Chrysler Group CEO, Sergio Marchionne said, " Dodge Charger will head to its latest generation in 2016." He also added an indication of the 2019 Dodge Charger's arrival.

The model may come with some of its platform inspired from the revised Chrysler 300 that will be released this year. This 2019 model will also come with a rear wheel drive as standard. As for an all-wheel drive, it will be placed as an optional specification which will include the systems engine as well as the transmission.

For a clearer overview of the remodeling, Dodge has made a promise that this 2019 Dodge Charger will continue to keep and work on with the V6 and V8 versions of engines. These will be different from the V6 of the current Pentastar and the V8 of the brand's Hemi.
