2017 Ducati SuperSport S: Versatile Motorcycle For Off-Roading

The 2017 Ducati SuperSport S is a versatile motorcycle, which will be unveiled at the EIMCA show in Milan. The SuperSport S will be one of the touring sportbikes of Ducati, which will run with 100 horsepower over similar to the Aprilia Tuono.

According to Motorcycle, the SuperSport S owns raised clip-on and lowered footpegs. It comes with a windscreen, which can be raised or adjusted within a two-inch range. It has a 320 mm brake and four-piston calipers, which perfectly runs with a single 245 mm disc.

The 2017 Ducati SuperSport S is powered by 937cc Testastretta 11° engine, which similar to the Ducati Hypermotard 939. The superbike comes with a redesigned external coils, ride-by-wire system, crankcase, cylinder heads, and generator cover.

The redesigned ride-by-ride system helps smooth throttle response and transport the power lower in the rev range. It aims to have a power output of 71.3 pound-feet of torque at 6,500 rpm with 113 hp at 9,000 rpm, as noted by Total Motorcycle.

The motorcycle perfectly highlights the Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tires, which is a 120/70-R17 up front and 180/55-R17 rear. The seats have 31.9 inches, and it can be lowered to 20 mm. It has an excellent 24 degrees of rake, which to increase its side-to-side flick-ability.

The motorcycle is making 80 percent of its peak torque at 3,000 rpm, and 90 percent of its torque from 5,000 to 9,000 rpm.It has a tubular steel trellis frame and an adjustable 48mm Ohlins fork with fully adjustable Ohlins shock. It also comes with new 53mm throttle bodies.

The 2017 Ducati SuperSport S offers a "Safety Pack," which features Bosch's three-level ABS. It also comes with eight-level traction control system and a Ducati Quick Shifter stock. It has three riding modes, which is Urban, Sport, and Touring.

The 2017 Ducati SuperSport S will be available red or white. It is either priced for $14,795 or $14,995.
