Nokia 5 And Nokia 3 Unveiled Along With The Global Launch of The Nokia 6 At MWC 2017

The Finnish company stole the spotlight at the MWC 2017 for awhile when it introduced a modern version of the unbreakable 3310. However, it is its two new Android smartphones that the company unveiled enthusiasts were more interested in.

Two new Nokia Android smartphones. Two new Android smartphones have officially joined the Nokia 6. Their unveiling gives buyers more options from the Finnish brand which last launched an Android smartphone in January of this year.

The Nokia 5 can actually be considered a more compact version of the 6 that was launched before it. The smartphone sports a 5.2-inch high-definition display with 16:9 aspect ratio and 1280 by 720 pixel resolution. The device runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and has 2 gigabytes of RAM and 16 gigabytes of internal storage. It comes with microSD card support and is expandable to up to 128 gigabytes.

The smartphone features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera and a 13-megapixel camera at the rear. It comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. It is available in the same four colors as the 6 namely Matte Black, Tempered Blue, Copper, and Silver. This Android smartphone retails at £161.00.

The Nokia 3, on the other hand, has a smaller size IPS HD display at 5 inches. It also features 1280 by 720 pixel resolution. It runs on a quadcore MediaTek 6737 1.3GHz processor.

The smartphone also has 2 gigabytes of RAM, 16 gigabytes of internal storage which can be expanded to up to 128 gigabytes, and Android 7.1.1 Nougat pre-installed just like the 5. It has an 8-megapixel front camera and another 8-megapixel rear camera. It retails at £118.00.

The smartphones' unveiling came with the global launch of the 6 at the MWC 2017. The 6 is the first smartphone from the Finnish brand since the Lumia 638 back in 2014. The smartphone was made exclusive only to China when it was released last January at the CES 2017.
