The 2018 Dodge Durango SRT full-size SUV. The new Durango SRT, according to NAFTA Passenger Car Brands head Tim Kinuskis, is the most powerful and the fastest three-row vehicle. It houses a 392-cubic-inch Hemi V8 engine that is able to churn out 475 horsepower at 6,000 revolutions per minute and 470 pound-feet of torque.

The 2018 Durango SRT sports a 2.75-inch dual exhaust system and actually sounds like a Charger SRT. It even has launch control, a tachometer in the driver's display, and a speedometer that goes up to 180 miles per hour. All three are what one would normally find inside a Charger. In fact, it has a real gear-shifter instead of a knob which makes it more of an SRT than the regular family SUV.

The Durango SRT comes in seven drive modes namely Street, Track, Snow, Sport, Valet, Eco, and Tow. Each mode holds specific torque delivery, shift times, and other characteristics. It is able to 8,600 pounds, higher by 1,400 pounds over the previous model.
