2017 Kawasaki Ninja 650: Versatile And Aggressive Street Riding Motorcycle

The 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 650 is a superbike with new trellis frame, which is best for new riders and beginner bikers. It has a new assist and slipper clutch and ZX-inspired styling. It is a sporty motorcycle with a versatile performance and aggressively practical concept.

The Ninja 650 comes with practical middleweight option idea. It weighs just 33 pounds. Its new trellis frame owns perfection with a combined aluminum gull-wing swingarm. The new chassis is much lighter-handling, which is a 42-pound weight reduction compared to its predecessor.

The 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 650 is powered by a 649cc Twin. It offers a mid-range performance from 3000-6000 rpm, which features a peak output of 68 hp. The company claims a 6.8 percent improvement in fuel efficiency, which the new model claims a 55 mpg, as noted by Top Speed.

The motorcycle has a laydown rear shock, which extends the frame to the swingarm along to its left side. The rear shock features a similar line, however, it is lined up inside the subframe above the swingarm.

According to Sports Rider, the 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 650 comes with a new sporty front cowl and aggressive bodywork with sharp angular lines. The shock comes in a horizontal back-link configuration similar to the Kawasaki ZX-10R. It comes with a powerful gull-wing swingarm and under-engine exhaust.

Ninja 650 has a 649 cc displacement, with a four-stroke and two-cylinder DOHC water-cooled engine. It has a bore and stroke of 83.0 x 60.0 mm, with a compression ratio of 10.8:1. The fuel system is powered by DFI, which is a dual 36mm Keihin throttle body.

The 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 650 has a TCBI with digital advance ignition with a six-speed transmission. Its front suspension is 41mm hydraulic telescopic fork which 4.9 inches wheel travel fork. Its rear suspension comes with Horizontal Back-link with adjustable spring preload. The front brakes are Dual 300 mm petal-type discs and two-piston calipers and ABS. It has a single 220 mm petal-type disc rear brakes with single-piston caliper and an ABS.
