Red Bull RB13 Seems To Be The ‘Coolest’ Among The 2017 F1 Cars

2017 F1 cars are set to wow the fans with its impressive brands and models. Red Bull has just revealed its RB13 car for this year's Formula One, following the revelations of Mercedes, McLaren-Honda, Sauber, Renault, Force India, Ferrari and Williams. The new car appears to be the "coolest" car because of its duct on the nose of the car.

Red Bull has recently made an official announcement of its newest car for 2017 Formula One. Red Bull took to its official website a short video to give F1 fans a sneak peek on RB13, the car entry to look forward to.

The video highlighted the significant parts and new design of RB13. One of the highlights that captured the curiosity of car enthusiasts is the duct on the nose of the new F1 car from Red Bull.

This duct on the nose of RB13 sets it apart from the rest of the new cars of 2017 F1. This new part is actually compliant with the crash structure regulations, Article 15.4.3 which refers to the single external vertical cross-section of at least 9,000 square millimeters, placed on about 50mm behind the nose's tip.

The duct on the nose of RB13 appears to serve as a cooling duct for the driver. Autosport noted that the design of the new car which has compact side pods suggests the need for extra cooling

Furthermore, Red Bull took to its official Twitter account some photos of the team's uniform for 2017 F1. Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo are shown modeling the new suits.

The RB13 will be driven by Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen. The former has won the 2016 Malaysian Grand Prix against Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. Whereas, the latter has won in Spain last year.

Meanwhile, BBC Sports has noted that the new RB13 also sports a shark-fin-like feature on the rear bodywork. This feature is expected to provide anaerodynamic advantage with regard to cornering. The publication also mentioned that this shark fin will most likely be spotted in Mercedes' F1 car in the pre-season testing.
