‘Torment: Tides Of Numenera’ Updates Prior To Feb. 28 Release; Enjoy Unfamiliar World & Mysteries As Gamers Progress In The Game

"Torment: Tides of Numenera" updates are now floating on the web, pulling up the excitement level prior to its Feb. 28 release. Gamers will enjoy exploring an unfamiliar world and mysteries as they progress in the game.

In an interview, George Ziets, lead area designer for InXile's "Torment: Tides of Numenera," emphasized the vast opportunities to explore in creating the game. George Ziets explained that since the game is set a billion years in the future, they are able to squeeze out their wildest imaginations to develop the bizarre frontiers of science fantasy.

The futuristic setting means many civilizations were already taken down while new ones have also risen up. This scenario allows them to create fresh and unique characters without limits.

This also means that gamers will not be bored with the usual game as they will have the chance to encounter new characters, settings and arcs, which make the game more exciting. The "Torment: Tides of Numenera" features unfamiliar storyline, settings and the latest gameplay system.

George Ziets revealed one particular city in the new game. The lead area designer talked about the Reef of Fallen Worlds, which is the introduction to the world of Numenera.

The Reef of Fallen Worlds features more unfamiliar characters and technologies. It is an integration of technology and bizarre artifacts from various eras which further complicate the setting of this particular world.

George Ziets further teased that the goal at the start of the game is to allow gamers to come to a point of crisis of unfathomable mysteries. They want to give the gamers a lot of mysteries that they need to solve as they progress in the game, Forbes reported.

Meanwhile, not so good news for gamers in Australia as the game's release date will be delayed a little further. Unfortunately, 18point2, the Australian publisher of the game, has encountered some unexpected issues that they needed to settle first prior to the release.

According to 18point2, the physical version of the game was reset to a March 15 release date. This new release date will ensure both the standard and collector's edition copies of "Torment: Tides of Numenera" will be ready on the same day, PressStart has noted.
