BlackBerry KeyOne Resurrected BlackBerry; Canadian Tech Giant Is Back, It Is So Back! Keyboard Oozes With Pizzazz

BlackBerry KeyOne officially made its debut and finally introduced for the first time during the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, Spain! This is definitely good news for BlackBerry fans and supporters. BlackBerry came up with different mobile devices but has not made much-needed noise to self-promote and it may be entirely different with the KeyOne.

According to Gadgets 360, the all-new BlackBerry KeyOne sports a physical keyboard that made the Canadian tech giant an icon. Not only is it staying true to the feature that made BlackBerry a household name, it also has the keyboard with several major upgrades.

The KeyOne will be made available on sale beginning April 2017 and will have around $550 price tag in the US. Back in September, BlackBerry decided to end its in-house mobile phone devices production and instead license the brand to partners like TCL.

The BlackBerry KeyOne as earlier reported brings back the physical keyboard as part of the entire mobile device. However, it is one that comes with a fingerprint sensor on the spacebar, something that other BlackBerry devices did not have. Users can "Flick" predictions using the BlackBerry KeyOne keyboard. Users can also assign a shortcut to keys for use with a long press.

The latest BlackBerry device also runs on Android 7.1 Nougat software which comes with a good number of productivity and security enhancements on the top such as BlacBerry Hub and DTEK security monitoring app.

The BlackBerry KeyOne boasts of top-of-the-class hardware specifications as it comes with a full 4.5-inch full-HD IPS display and strong with its Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa core SOC, 3GB of RAM and Adreno 506 GPU. The rear-facing camera has 12-megapixels.

Many are eagerly waiting as they get their hands on the device come April, however, there are some that seem to have different thoughts about it. The Verge seems to not entirely welcome the keyboard design which made BlackBerry iconic. According to the site, no one needs a physical keyboard as part of the phone nowadays. However, BlackBerry supporters may not mind at all.

The BlackBerry KeyOne may not be the fastest mobile device at present, however, it is known to be efficiently fast which will not hamper in performing most of its functions at the same time. The latest BlackBerry offering also is less-expensive compared to the Priv.

The BlackBerry KeyOne may or may not entirely be welcomed as compared to its keyboard-bedecked devices launched a couple of years back, but it is expected to sell, primarily for the experience and iconography. Users are then expected to enjoy its experience as they get used to the presence of the keyboard. That has been the case over the years, anyway.
