Bentley Bentayga Gets A Makeover; Lumma Design Worked In Styling Up The Car

Bentley Bentayga has been modified. The Lumma Design rendered some help to the car in the style department. Lumma Design is already famous for its unique take on vehicles and the awesome designs it comes up with.

In 2016, Bentley sold 5600 Bentaygas. This was way above the target and it mostly sold because of its novelty. After the initial pomp and show, customers wanted the product to freshen up a bit to maintain the sales momentum. The V8 diesel engine worked pretty well with Europe. But in other places, it wasn't even accepted. The car needed a makeover to retain the appeal, reported Top Gear.

The Lumma Design Bentley Bentayga gets a wide body kit. This new design fits the W12 model and the brand new Bentayga Diesel.

The Bentley Bentayga is all set to be unveiled at the Geneva motor show. The motor show is due in two weeks' time. The Bentayga is called the CLR B900 Wide-Body, reported Carscoops.

The design of Wide-Body is inspired from the Lumma Design's classic packages for the BMW. It boldly showcases an aggressive front spoiler, side skirts, and rear bumper. The bonnet of the car is made up of carbon fiber. It is coupled with a tailgate and boot lid spoiler.

The car is way wider than before. It will be tough to maneuver this car through narrow city streets. The car also has new wheel arches to accommodate the large alloy wheels.

The Lumma Design ensured that its new CLR B900 body kit is suitable for both the W12 and diesel V8 models. The design is quite similar to the one that Lumma created for BMW X6 M.

The Lumma also installed steam-roller spec rubber on 24-inch wheels. The wheels of the grand Bentley have dimensions of 295/30-24 in front and 355/25-24 at the back. The car is rendered a lot of support with the rubber-band sidewalls by Lumma. Also, the Bentley has a less aggressive wheel/tire combination.
