‘McLaren’ Movie Trailer Gives A Glimpse Of The Legend's Inspiring Legacy

"McLaren" movie trailer is out ahead of its release date later this year. Directed by Roger Donaldson, this film takes as back to an untold story of the name that we know so well today.

This documentary is an account of a person that seemingly came from nowhere but was filled with unswerving tenacity and endless passion. You will definitely get goosebumps after hearing the race driver's words at the end of the "McLaren" movie trailer.

Relatively, the "McLaren" movie is filled with archival footage and commentaries from racing legends and those part of McLaren's inner circle. These include Emerson Fittipaldi, Jackie Stewart, and Mario Andretti.

There are also dramatized scenes starring Dwayne Cameron ("Shortland Street" and "Power Ranger" actor) as McLaren. In this film, fans of the legend get to have unprecedented access to his family and archives, according to Hollywood News.

Bruce McLaren was born in 1937 in New Zealand. He was more than just a racer. He practically built a race team that gave birth to a car company bearing his name to this day.

However, McLaren died in 1970 from a crash at Goodwood in his M8D Can-Am car, reports MotorAuthority. He died 4 years prior to his F1 team winning their first drivers and constructors' championship. Yet, he left a legacy that to this day lives on.

The "McLaren" movie director Roger Donaldson is also a native of New Zealand, although he was born in Australia and migrated to New Zealand. He is known for films "The Bank Job" (2008), "The Recruit" (2003), and "The World's Fastest Indian" (2005).

"I feel that life is measured in achievement, not in years alone," McLaren's prophetic quote at the end of the trailer.  "McLaren" movie will be out in cinemas this year.
