‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ News: Red Harlow’s Return, Possible PC Version

Several gaming news outlets and blogs have recently reported about "Red Dead Redemption 2," the upcoming sequel to the highly successful video game title from Rockstar Games. The latest buzz about the upcoming game discusses the possibility of Red Harlow's return to the game.

Red Harlow is the main protagonist of "Red Dead Revolver," released in 2004, it is the first title in the "Read Dead" series. There are speculations claiming that if Red Harlow is poised to return for "Red Dead Redemption 2," then the game will serve as a prequel, rather than a sequel to the original "Red Dead Redemption" title released in 2010.

In October 2016, Rockstar Games released a teaser poster and trailer for "Red Dead Redemption 2." The gaming company also confirmed that the game will be released in fall of 2017. What is interesting about this reveal is that Rockstar highlighted seven still unnamed characters in one of the posters.

If rumors about Red Harlow's return is true, then he might be one of the seven characters teased by Rockstar. Some fans speculate that "Red Dead Redemption 2" might be a prequel, and will tackle the story of Harlow during his bounty hunter days, according to Mobile and Apps.

Rockstar Games have confirmed that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. However, there are rumors suggesting that the company is also working to port the popular Western shooter title into the desktop.

According to Express, this rumor started when "Red Dead Redemption 2" was spotted on a Denuvo database. Denuvo is a digital rights management scheme for PC games. Rockstar has yet to comment about this rumor, although it makes sense for the company to release the game on the PC platform just like what it did with the release of "Grand Theft Auto V."
