Nier: Automata News: Devs Hint PC Launch Release Date?

There are a lot of speculation about Nier: Automata's PC version release date. Recently, Developers release the game's latest trailer entitled "Arsenal of Elegant Destruction." The trailer was such a joy to watch, but it hinted a huge clue for the title's PC version release date.

So far, the PS4 version is confirmed to launch on March 7, 2017, which delighted a lot of PS4 console users. According to an investigation by PC gamer, on the latest Nier: Automata trailer, a note about the PC release date is included. Although Square Enix has not confirmed this allegation, this is so far the closest possible hint confirming the PC version release date.

The latest trailer for Nier: Automata is posted at Square Enix North America Youtube channel. But, the most interesting part is that the logo appeared at the end does not include the PC version. It is a bit confusing, but hoping to Gematsu's channel, the said logo with the PC launch date is seen. Strange isn't it? Well, according to the source, he contacted Square Enix via email to confirm this matter.

"It's not official-it could be that we've annoyed Gematsu somehow, and now they're messing with us-but it seems very likely that the PC version of the Nier: Automata will be out just a few days after the PS4 release. That would certainly be nice. It may also be wrong, but fingers crossed that this really is the cat getting out of the bag a little earlier than planned. I've emailed Square Enix to ask if the date is accurate, and will update if and when I receive a reply," says the source.

Here is the latest clip for Nier: Automata which features solid two minutes of slashing, stabbing, hammering, etc. If proven correct, the PS4 launch will be March 7th, while Steam launch will be March 10th.
