2017 Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SuperVeloce Roadster: Lamborghini's Badass Supercar

The Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SuperVeloce Roadster is the automaker's first Lamborghini SuperVeloce version to be offered as a roadster. But the automaker announced that the roadster version is only limited to 500 units.

The supercar's front fascia has been redesigned to have even sharper lines. Its lower part now has two wings, one in carbon fiber and one in body color, larger front air inlets and optimize brake cooling. In addition, aerodynamic has been improved by 150 percent in terms of efficiency and downforce is 170 percent higher compared to the standard Aventador.

The supercar uses carbon fiber for the side vents, aluminum for the front fenders and doors, and glass-fiber reinforced polyester for its rear fenders and rocker covers. It also features a larger rear diffuser fins, a carbon fiber engine cover, quad central tailpipes, and carbon fiber rear spoiler. The spoiler is manually adjustable with three positions as well.

The car comes with a lightweight forged matt black rims that measure 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the back, wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Corsa Tires. Six exterior colors are also offered.

Unlike the LP 700-4, the 2017 Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SuperVeloce doesn't come with an infotainment display. It's been removed so that drivers can focus on the driving and save weight. But Lamborghini can install the system at no extra cost.

The LP 750-4 uses the same beast engine that the LP 700-4 has. It's equipped with a 6.5-liter V12 that produces 750 horsepower and 507 lb-ft of torque. A seven-speed automated manual transmission is paired to the V12. And according to the automaker, it's the fastest production gearbox in the world capable of 50-milisecond shifts.

From a standstill, the car can accelerate from 0-62mph in just 2.8 seconds. In 8.6 seconds, it can easily hit 124 mph. Maximum speed is over 217 mph.

Even though it's called the Aventador, it has nearly nothing in common with the LP 700-4. The 2017 Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SuperVeloce Roadster currently sells for $530,000.
