BMW Z5 Update: New Convertible Spied; Reveals A Classic and Compact

The BMW Z5 and Toyota Supra cars have been hitting the headline while they continue to make appearances. It does seem that the cars are on the verge of making a public appearance and the development is almost over. The BMW Z5 made its first appearance, in the snow and it is absolutely stunning!

There were no pictures of the BMW Z5 up until now. The new convertible with a soft top made an appearance in the snow when the temperature was freezing. It was at that moment that the pictures of the new car have been captured and made its presence online.

The BMW Z5 has a soft top which replaced the retractable hardtop of its predecessor, the BMW Z4. The second generation BMW Z4 had a retractable hardtop. This change is giving the new model a very classic look, reported Auto Blog.

The weight of the new Z5 appeared to be far lesser than the predecessor. The BMW Z5 looks more compact than the Z4 when the top is closed. The Z5 appeared when the temperature was almost freezing and it was just 7 degrees Fahrenheit.

However, the driver of the car did not seem bothered by the temperature. This does indicate that the BMW seat warmers are doing their job at the best. It can also be speculated that the new BMW Z5 has in-seat neck warmers, reported Auto Sports.

Earlier, there were reports that Z5, as well as its twin Toyota Supra, have stalled production. It was reported that the production line that made Z5 and the Toyota Supra have been put to rest for preparation.

However, the cars seem to be enjoying an occasional outing quite frequently of late. So, there might not be much time before the cars are released officially. It will be very interesting to see how the result of the Japanese-German joint venture turned out to be.
