Samsung Galaxy Book Possibly The Most Powerful Windows 10 Tablet Ever!

Smartphone fans have been looking forward to the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 which happens annually where leading brands in the smartphone industry introduce their latest flagship units. This year, for the first time, Samsung is not going to be launching any smartphone. However, there are reports saying Samsung will also launch or announce the making of their latest tablet.

According to Express UK, Samsung seems like they will be launching a new tablet since there were recent photo leaks suggesting that the Galaxy TabPro which is powered by Windows, now has a “Book Settings” application available in Windows Store that hints a new possible Samsung Galaxy Book.

The app is designed to provide additional feature settings for Pen (or Stylus), Screen Mode (AMOLED display), Pattern Log-in (similar to that of an Android) and a Battery Life Extender. The description of the app says that “Book Settings is an application for Galaxy Book. It may not function normally on other devices,” which all the more convinces that Samsung will be launching a Galaxy Book. If this is true, then the said Galaxy Book will be Samsung’s direct competitor for Apple’s iPad Pro in the premium tablet market.

The Verge reported that Samsung has been holding a trademark for Galaxy Book that includes smartphones and tablets. Since there is a stylus and book branding, it could be that this is more than just a tablet. Samsung scheduled a press event on February 26 in Barcelona, the day before the official start of the MWC 2017 exhibit.

On what Samsung will announce, there are no official reports but there are hints that this will be the best time for them to announce the Samsung Galaxy Book. There are also reports suggesting that they will launch a wearable item or probably something really surprising and big. It is also possible that they will add another option to the tablet market by announcing a smaller tablet (something like a Phablet, maybe?). To know more about Samsung’s plans for 2017, watch out for the upcoming MWC 2017 on February 27 to March 2.
