‘Dawn of War 3: Prophecy of War’: Relic Entertainment Releases New Teaser Video

The epic struggle of three factions in the "Dawn of War" universe is expected to get bigger with the upcoming release of the "Prophecy of War" update. The war between the Orks, Humans, and Eldars will be bloodier as all three factions vie control of the mythical "pointy stikk."

"Dawn of War 3" developer Relic Entertainment described the upcoming "Prophecy of War" update as, "a race to the pointy stikk as Gabriel Angelos, Farseer Macha, and Gorgutz 'Ead'unter command their massive armies in search for a mythical weapon that can control the fate of their races!"

It appears that the "pointy stikk" Relic refers to here is the Spear of Khaine, the ultimate weapon of the series. The exact power of the spear has yet to be revealed as no faction has been able to wield it.

In order to promote the upcoming update, Relic Entertainment released a trailer video on YouTube, according to PC Gamer. The video has since received thousands of views. The trailer also gave gamers a sneak preview of what to expect in the upcoming update. The trailer shows massive army battles and a preview to the special abilities of the three main heroes.

Along with the latest trailer, Relic Entertainment has also released three videos that explains and highlights the changes on the three factions. These videos also provides a handful of hints about gameplay mechanic changes, and possible strategies to employ once the game is released.

"Dawn of War 3: Prophecy of War" will feature three separate campaigns: each for the three factions. These campaigns will focus on the struggle of the three factions and their respective leaders as they battle each other to acquire the Spear of Khaine, according to VG24/7.

Relic Entertainment has yet to announce the release date of "Dawn of War 3: Prophecy of War," although it is widely speculated that it should hit the shelves before the year ends.
