2017 Geneva Motor Show Updates: What Are Toyota's Entries?

The 2017 Geneva Motor Show is just around the corner and Toyota has already shared what fans can expect from their showcase. Reports indicate that the sportier version of the 2017 Toyota Yaris, the i-TRIL Concept, and the full Toyota Gazoo Racing lineup will be featured this March.

The brand new Yaris will be the brand's highlight model at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show since the automaker has experienced tremendous success in the market for the model due to its dynamic exterior and interior designs reported Toyota UK. In fact, the showcase will include a performance prototype in the form of the Yaris GRMN which had been inspired by the 2017 World Rally Championship entry. The said prototype is powered by a supercharged engine with a 1.8L capacity that can generate 210hp.

Other than the Yaris, the brand would also feature the i-TRIL Concept which was developed by the Toyota Motor Europe and design studio in Nice, France. The EV concept will show fans the innovative features of Toyota's research which paved the way for environmental-friendly mobility solutions. Furthermore, the on-plus-two seating layout also has the autonomous technological feature which has alternative A and B segment cars, motorcycles, and EV products under its design as well.

In other news, Automotive World reported that the full lineup of the Toyota Gazoo Racing cars which will be the official entries of championship races this year will also be showcased. These races include the FIA World Rally and World Endurance Championship race in Dakar. The 2017 Geneva Motor Show will showcase the design and engineering features of these vehicles by next month.

Toyota will hold a press conference on its stand in Hall 4 of the Palexpo exhibition center on March 7, 2017. It will be the first day of the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Will the surprise the fans with what's in store for their present and future automobiles?
