Version 1.1 contains the latest round of improvements that users had been reporting about the program including issues with rebooting and the weather app according to SlashGear. The evad3rs team urges people to clear their web browser's cache in order to properly see the update.

If you've already jailbroken your device, you can find patches for the problems through Cydia.

Since being released this week, evasiOn was used over 800,000 times in the first six hours alone according to Jay Freeman, who runs the Cydia app store. On Feb. 4 that number had reached over 1.7 million and continues to climb.

China has been the top source of traffic for the evasiOn download according to new reports. Approximately 3 million people have visited the site in some fashion, where as 2.5 million people have visited from the U.S according to pod2g's iOS blog.

While unlocking a device may be illegal, jailbreaking is simply frowned upon by Apple who issued a warning that jailbreaking can cause a number of issues to Apple devices. Some issues they've warned users about is security vulnerabilities like modifications that could allow hackers to steal personal information and introduce malware or viruses.
