2017 Audi SQ5: Picked As The High-Performance Compact Luxury Crossover SUV

The German automaker has presented their 2017 Audi SQ5. The prestige model has included some extra standard features and has remained its business image.

This luxurious compact SUV from Audi is available in two choices of trim levels. The Premium Plus and the Prestige.

Premium Plus will come with an alloy 20-inch wheels, high-performance brakes, summer tires, sport tuned suspension, xenon headlights in automatic, aluminum roof rails, heated folding mirrors, auto dimming, running LED lights, wipers in automatic, power liftgate, and a panoramic sunroof. This trim also includes a keyless ignition as well as entry, heated front seats with adjustments, upholstery in leather and simulated suede, tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel with the useful climate control in tri-zone which is automatic and a drive setting that can easily be adjusted.

For the Prestige, it has a standard technology package, cruise control, a dynamic steering that is enhanced, adaptive headlights, cup holders cooled and heated and sunshades on the rear door. Both of the trim levels, Premium Plus and Prestige has an optional luxury package. The said package showcases front seats which are both ventilated and also premium leather is used on the seats and other parts of the interior surface.

Black Optic Plus is also available on both trims of the 2017 Audi SQ5. It is a matte twist on the rear diffuser and roof rails with a glossy black on the exterior trim and the mirror's body.

The 2017 Audi SQ5 will run a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine that produces a horsepower over 354 and a torque of 346 lb-ft. The eight-speed transmission and all-wheel drive are both standards on the model. In some performance test, the vehicle has a recorded 0 to 60 mph in a span of 5.0 seconds which is quite impressive. For drivers who are looking for a sporty performance car, this crossover from Audi deserves a shot.
