2017 Ford C-Max Energi: The American-Style Step Up Ride

Ford is the known automobile manufacturer of a compact (MPV) multi-purpose vehicle since 2003 up to the present. Today's company image of this type of vehicle is the 2017 Ford C-Max Energi.

This wagon style four-door car offers a space for five passengers. It is available in two choices of trim levels.

 The first variety of its trim is the SE. It has a standard alloy 17 inches wheels,  intermittent wipers, keyless entry, automatic headlights, dual-zone climate control in automatic, rear spoiler, and a cloth upholstery. It also includes a 10-way power driver seat, folding rear seat, and a tilt and telescoping steering wheel wrapped in leather.

For the technology, entertainment, as well as connectivity, this vehicle provides a cruise control, 110 volt power outlet, a rearview camera, voice command system, Bluetooth for phone and audio. It will also feature app integration for a smartphone which includes the internet radio Pandora, six-speaker sound system with a cd player, aux audio jack and USB port.

Second of the choices given is the Titanium. It features the heated outside mirrors, foglights, chrome exterior trim, rain-sensing wipers, rear parking sensors. For the interior, it highlights the leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a 10-way power front passenger seat.

The 2017 Ford C-Max Energi is equipped with an electric motor powered by a 7.6-kWh lithium-ion battery pack and a four-cylinder 2.0-liter gasoline engine. The combination produces 188 of horsepower with a continuously variable automatic transmission that distributes the power to the front wheels.

For the safety features, it provides front side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, driver-side knee airbag, traction and stability control, and antilock disc brakes. In addition, it will also have the rearview camera, daytime running lights and optional parking sensors for SE and standard on Titanium.

2017 Ford C-Max Energi will highlight their new safety feature which is the 911 Assist. It will be paired with a smartphone device and automatically calls for an emergency assistance in any case of deployed airbags.
