[Watch] Nintendo Switch Unboxing: Great News To SWITCH!

Nintendo Switch is scheduled for release on March 3. With only two more weeks before its grand launch, someone received his Nintendo Switch console way too early for an unknown reason. Today, details kept in secret has been revealed.

The first ever unboxing of Nintendo Switch comes from a member of the NeoGAF gaming forum. Showing off the Switch's functionalities, the console appeared to be quick and responsive. In the video, features such as Brightness, Parental Control, Airplane Mode, Themes, Sleep Mode, and more has been revealed. Check out the first unboxing video below.

Also, the Nintendo Switch eShop purchases will be automatically tied up to the owners Nintendo Account rather than a particular piece of hardware. Apparently, on today's Nintendo console, buying digital game means permanently locked on the system used. Recovering or downloading the same content on another device is prohibited.

For Nintendo Switch, all purchases are saved to the Nintendo Account. Therefore, users can retrieve materials using another device as long as its using the same Nintendo Account. Here is the statement captured by NeoGaf. "Your Nintendo account contains your Nintendo eShop purchase history and current balance. By re-linking your Nintendo Account after initializing the console, it will be possible to redownload any software or DLC purchased using that account. (Software that has been discontinued may not be available for redownload in some cases.)"

So, it appears that Nintendo is catching up with the likes of Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam, allowing users to download purchased contents anywhere as long as it is using the same login details. Nintendo Switch release date is on March 3, and with only two more weeks, details that Nintendo has kept in secret are now being revealed. AWN will provide updates for Nintendo Switch. As always, share us your thoughts in the comment section below.
