2018 Dodge Barracuda Will Be Impressively Powerful; May Be Available Either This Year Or Early 2018

The 2018 Dodge Barracuda is one that is highly anticipated upon release. It is believed to be a modification of the Challenger. Analysts report that it may be powerful, however, the Challenger will still be the leader of the pack.

The upcoming 2018 Dodge Barracuda had car analysts and enthusiasts formulate possible theories prior to its official release which is believed to be the latter part of this year or may even be until the first half of next year.

According to Cars in Trend, one of the theories is that the 2018 Dodge Barracuda may be a modification of the powerful Challenger as earlier reported. By modification, it means that it may borrow design and concepts from the Challenger but is not entirely made to beat it. The Challenger is still considered to be one of the most powerful muscle sports cars there is and Dodge wants it to remain that way.

In connection to this, the Barracuda may even be a completely new model, complete with different trims. Since the Challenger is still unbeatable in more ways than one, the Barracuda may be a model resembling the Challenger but offers different power levels and may even have a different target market.

Lastly, the Barracuda may even just be a code name for a completely new vehicle the car manufacturing is currently producing. These theories are from experts who know the industry all too well. While these are theories, one of the three may come to fruition or none at all. The car manufacturer may want for people to continue guessing to stir the interest all the more.

As added by Auto Guide, it is also rumored that the 2018 Dodge Barracuda may use a new rear-wheel drive platform borrowed from the Alfa Romeo Giulia. Styling cues may be patterned by its big brother, the 1999 Dodge Charger R/T Concept.

The 2018 Dodge Barracuda may also use an updated version of the Pentastar V-6 or HEMI V-8 Engines. Official word has yet to be released so it is best to stay tuned for future updates which will be reported immediately as it is made available.
