Huawei P10: Focus on Selfie Lovers

The Huawei P10 has been officially confirmed by a teaser on the manufacturer’s YouTube page. The short, 20-second teaser features a “change how the world sees you” slogan, which isn’t too difficult to decipher.

TechRadar reported that Huawei revealed the name of their latest flagship phone and featured a teaser for a previously confirmed press conference at Mobile World Congress on February 26. Richard Yu also confirmed that the Huawei Watch 2 will also be ready to show at the end of the month.

The slogan “change how the world sees you” gives a hint of some potentially new features, especially in the camera department. On their last Huawei P9 event, there was a slogan “change the way you see the world” and sold itself on a dual-lens rear camera. It is safe to assume that P10 will have some big changes in the front-facing camera. There are two images of eyes in the teaser, which might suggest dual lens front camera or possible iris scanner in helping the customers unlock the phone securely as well.

Trusted Reviews reported that Huawei P10 might be joined by larger P10 Plus at Huawei’s Mobile World Congress event. In the latest leaks, the flagship P10 has been tipped as an affordable smartphone. The phone costs as little as £410 in the United Kingdom and rising up to £665 for the highest end model.

There are rumors that the Huawei P10 will have 5.5-inches display and the resolution may change from Full HD to Quad HD with a pixel density of 534ppi. It is likely that Huawei will use their own 2.3GHz Kirin 960 system CPU, with up to 64GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage. On the other hand, Huawei P10 Plus will come with 8 GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The P10 Plus also comes with a disappointingly high price of £480.
