2017 Cadillac CTS: The Sporty Mid-Sized Sedan

The 2017 Cadillac CTS is one of the awaited car models this year. It comes with new styling from the front and back. It also highlights its sharp look with today's generation style of interior and strong performance. CTS are a serious competitor for the sporty mid-size luxurious sedans.

This mid-size sedan is available in five trim levels. The variety of trims to choose from is the CTS which are the base trim, Luxury and Premium Luxury, V-Sport, and V-Sport Luxury.

All CTS trims excluding the V-Sport have the same turbocharged 2.0-liter four cylinder standard engine. It can run up to 268 of horsepower and a torque of 295 lb-ft. It comes with an automatic transmission in eight-speed that distributes power to the rear wheels while all-wheel drive is optional.

Its four-cylinder engine has an EPA record of 22 in the city, 30 on the highway and a combined 25 mpg. For an all-wheel drive, it has an EPA estimation of 21 in the city, 29 on the highway and a combined 24 mpg.

For buyers or drivers who want more powered 2017 Cadillac CTS, they can upgrade to a V6 3.6-liter engine that can go for as much as 335 of horsepower and a torque of 285 lb-ft. It is with an eight-speed transmission and a rear or all-wheel drive options.

Safety equipment that comes with the 2017 Cadillac CTS includes stability and traction control, active head restraints, antilock brakes, and added a rearview camera, the usual side airbags, and side curtain airbags. For a sportier look of the mid-sized sedan, the Carbon Black appearance package is a new option offered on the list.

The killer design of this car is to compete with the famous German brand vehicles just like the Audi A6 line, Mercedes E-Class, and BMW 5 Series. With its comfort and speeding attitude, it can catch consumers interest to go for an all-American alternative.
