The Chicago Auto Show reveals the Best and Worst Cars for 2018. Auto brands like Nissan, Hyundai, Ford and Mitsubishi made it to the list, but the question is which ones made it on the honor roll?
Nissan Rouge Star Wars Edition. Motor1 came up with a list of the best and the worst automobiles introduced at the Chicago Auto Show. The Nissan car has an X-Wing fighter with a futuristic look (one of the fighter planes in the "Star Wars" movie saga) with an R2-D2 droid peeping out of its sunroof. Buyers of this limited edition will also get to receive a numbered Death Trooper helmet, reported CBS news.
2018 Hyundai Elantra GT Sports Sedan. This car is one of the highly anticipated cars at the Chicago Auto Show. As reported by CNET Reviews, This Hyundai car is slightly different from the 2017 model. It has a 2.0L 162 hp engine and it also has Sports model with 1.6 L 200 hp for a stronger power. This sporty car certainly caught the attention of the auto show guests with its masculine and trendy design.
Some cars were highly anticipated in Chicago Auto Show 2017 but unfortunately, they didn't make it for unknown reasons. No statements from the auto brands were released but their absence makes it the worst part of the show.
Ford's Mustangs. It was obvious that the 2018 Ford Mustang is a "no-show" in the grandest car event of the year. There was too much hype on the car line especially on its enhancements in the spoilers and fans are looking forward to witnessing its remarkable features that include its powerful 5-liter V8 engine. Spectators are quite disappointed that the Ford cars were missing. Instead, its was the Ford Expedition SUV that was exhibited in the show.
2018 Mitsubishi Outlander. Although the Outlander is present in the show, Top speed noted some details about its debut. First, it became more expensive than its predecessor with a $2,000 increase on its price considering there were only minimal additions in its features. Second, fans are quite frustrated as to why there are no major changes in the car that was around for almost 7 years.
These are just some of the cars that caught the attention of many car lovers during the Chicago Auto Show 2017. The organizers are hoping that the consumers will take the time to get to know their future cars. This will address one of their goals to promote consumer education and brand exposure.
