NBA Trade Rumors: Carmelo Anthony To Chicago Bulls; Sixers To Trade Jahlil Okafor

The NBA teams are scrambling to make deals as the deadline for NBA trade is just 10 days away. There are various reports that are being circulated around the Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony and Sixers center Jahlil Okafor.

There are reports that the Chicago Bulls might land Carmelo Anthony. It is reported that Knicks will trade Anthony before the deadline. It is said that Jimmy Butler is the one who is willing to help recruit Anthony. Jimmy Butler spoke to Carmelo Anthony around three days ago.

It was stated that the call was a casual call just to "catch-up." However, it wouldn't be too long before Butler called him and offered him a place with the Chicago Bulls just in case.

"That is half the battle,'' Butler said. "And I could still do that. I think everybody knows what Carmelo can bring to a team. The dude is a helluva player."

It is still very unclear when it comes to Jahlil Okafor. There are no reports as to which team would the NBA star finally go to. It is reported that the Sixers are in the process of negotiating a trade involving Jahlil Okafor. This negotiation is with many teams such as Denver Nuggets, Chicago Bulls, New Orleans Pelicans and Portland Trailblazers, reported NJ.

There are rumors that the Sixers will definitely be trading Jahlil Okafor. It is not confirmed when the trade will take place. Since the player did not play in the team's game this past Saturday the rumors are said to be true. Okafor is averaging 11.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks this season in 23 minutes a game. Sixers wanted to exchange Okafor for a draft pick back, reported NBA.

With just ten days left for the trade to close, there are still a lot of questions unanswered. Teams seem to be scrambling at the last minute to make a perfect roster which would give them a good position during the matches.
