Actress Amber Heard has reportedly dumped Johnny Depp in favor of French model Marie de Villepin, the daughter of former French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin according to a report by the New York Post.

Depp was often seen with Heard after his breakup with longtime partner Vanessa Paradis at award shows and movie premieres. The couple starred together in the movie "The Rum Diary" in 2010 and shortly after Heard broke up with her girlfriend of two years Tasya van Ree, a photographer, to start a relationship with Depp.

Depp announced he had spilt officially spilt from Paradis on June 19, 2012 according to a report by Enstarz.com. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor had been with Paradis for 14 years before the split became official.

The two were first seen out together at the GLAAD event in 2010 and a few weeks later news got out that Depp bought Heard a horse, seemingly confirming the two were an item.

Heard has been an open bi-sexual since 2010, and spoke freely about her feeling towards relationships.

"I don't label myself one way or another, I have had successful relationships with men and now a woman," said Heard in 2010 according to DailyMail.com. "I love who I love; it's the person that matters."

Heard started modeling when she was 17 in New York City before moving to Los Angeles to become an actor. She appeared in the show "Hidden Palms," before being featured in the movie "Never Back Down" and "Pineapple Express" according to IMDb.

Her other films include "The Stepfather" and "Drive Angry" starring Depp's friend Nicholas Cage.
