'Splatoon 2' Updates: Nintendo Switch To Feature The Preview In March

Nintendo has just announced a free preview of "Splatoon 2" from the 24th to the 26th of March. The window for the free game will be open for an hour each day where the players will be able to see how Nintendo has transformed the inky shooter.

The game, "Splatoon 2" will bring in the LAN Play mode which will not require an Internet connection and it also allows eight docked players to try their luck. The handheld play of the game will not be interrupted and the game will have tournaments. Also, there is a Private Battle Spectator View that allows an additional two people to use various multiple angles to watch the game.

There are many who feel that the window of one hour will not provide a good gaming experience. However, this is much better than waiting till the full game is launched during the summer. It is also reported that Nintendo is also introducing local play modes as part of the full game. Both of these are made by Nintendo for eSports, reported Engadget.

Through an announcement made on YouTube, the company confirmed that the game will have the content that will be similar to the one shown during a preview tour of the game: "layers can test four different main weapons, including the new Splat Dualies, as well as remixed versions of the iconic Splat Roller and Splat Charger," the company stated.

The free trial and the launch of the game will boost the launch of Switch. It should be noted that the list of games that the console is offering is getting bigger. The best thing about the Switch is that it can be played on the go, anywhere, reported Kotaku.

The demo of "Splatoon 2" is the first experience of the new gaming device that the players will get. Also, it will give a feel of how it is to play a multiplayer-centric game in this new console.
