[VIDEO] The 2020 BMW 8-Series Latest Spy Photos Looked Amazing

Amazing is an understatement. BMW 8-Series photos are striking from front to back making every BMW fan anticipate for its release. The new BMW flagship is a revival of the popular 8-series. The conventional models as announced by the company's senior executives are i8 Spyder which includes 8-series Coupe, and an 8-series Convertible. There is also a huge possibility of seeing an 8-series Gran Coupe.

According to Motor Authority, the 8-series will exhibit an unusual feature of the small roof and full looks, and muscular shoulders similar to the Aston Martin's DB9. The 8-series will also feature a four seater arrangement in a 2X2 format. The 8-series platform will be based on the carbon fiber-infused CLAR design which debuted last year in the 7-series release. Interested buyer can also expect the most top edge infotainment technology which includes next gen gesture controls.

Recent predictions suggested that the 8-series will feature a V-8 to V-12 M performance and a dedicated M options. There are also allegations saying that the 8-series will reveal a high-performance hybrid system dubbed as  Power eDrive plug-in hybrid. This system is a combination of a turbocharged inline-4 paired with electric motors for a resulting power of 670 horsepower.

The 2020 BMW 8-series is slated to start production late 2018 of the next following year. The production will take place in BMW's main plant in Dingolfing.

Meanwhile, competitors such as Jaguar F-Type, Mercedes-AMG GT, and Porsche 911 are already preparing for the 2020 BMW 8-series release. The 6-series Gran Turismo replaces 5-series GT; the 6-series coupe will take on positions to replace Jaguar F-type, Mercedes-AMG GT, and Porsche 911. Watch the video for BMW 8-series in this Vimeo.
