However, the newly developed 2017 Nissan GT-R Nismo has acquired the reputation as the flagship model to grace the streets. In fact, it has been tagged as the race car that was built for the road. What are the features that made it overcome the Skyline's notorious reputation?
The Specs. The 2017 Nissan GT-R Nismo is the official motorsport and high-performance entry of the brand in recent racing championship competitions. The latest model is pricier than the GT-R Premium and Track Editions for several elements such as its lightweight forged alloy wheels, its more buff body kit, and its wider front guards, reported Drive.
It is powered by a 3.8L twin-turbo V^ engine that has more power and torque than the model's standard version. Its peak outputs are at 441kW, and 652NM has suspension three times stiffer than the previous models and has been installed with better aerodynamics and downforce. On its cabin features, it was designed to incorporate a racer profile with lightweight carbon fiber Recaro bucket seats, has a suede dashtop, and has a three-spoke steering wheel. It is also 21kg lighter than the Track Edition which resulted to the enhanced powertrain. Moreover, its impressive average fuel consumption is only at 11.7L/100km.

It has shock springs and stabilizers that made it have high-flow, improve its turbocharger capacities, and made it roar like a jumbo jet with the improved air intake. In fact, few race cars could grace the tracks and the roads at the same time without making a resound distinction.
At present, the 2017 Nissan GT-R Nismo can be purchased at a whopping price of $299,000. The model has a six-speed dual clutch transmission or sequential-style transmission that provides cleaner shifts when pushed.
