2018 Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV Spied Testing In the Snow! Rolls-Royce Very First SUV

Spy photographers have again spotted the all-new 2018 Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV testing in the snow. The all-new model is said to get an all-wheel drive system and will take on the Bentley Bentayga which will go on sale in 2018.

The car brand describes the car as Project Cullinan, although the company said that it's just a development codename, while still refuses to reveal the production name. Also, it has been confirmed that the new SUV will be the first model with four wheel system in the automaker's 110-year history.

The newest spy shots showed little information about the Cullinan compared to the previous quick look of the luxury off-roader. The light camouflage on the SUV revealed many ideas on the car's style, borrowing the Ghost and Phantom designs and applying them to create a luxurious SUV vehicle.

In addition, the car's wheels were seen to have huge seven-spoke alloy wheels, two square exhausts exit embedded in the car's back bumper. The door handles layout suggests that the Cullinan will have suicide-style doors.

The automaker also already announced before that it will be taking the Cullinan to the north to take part in the cold weather testing early 2017 and the spy photos were able to confirm that. Now, the car will be heading to the Middle East to put the vehicle into the test with extreme heat.

In a press release, Rolls-Royce said that its new 2018 Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV is now officially set to be tested on public roads in different locations around the world. The testing will assure that the SUV still "delivers the Rolls-Royce's trademark "magic carpet" ride on a variety of surfaces and that it is resilient to extreme weather conditions."

According to Auto Express, company boss, Torsten Muller-Otvos, revealed at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, that the all new 2018 Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV would be launch first half of 2018. He added, "The Bentley SUV is clearly the number two; Rolls-Royce is the best in the world and will be when our model arrives. We will bring a great new car, and an authentic Rolls-Royce into the market."
