Ford Mustang Twin Turbo Capable of 1,200 HP Selling for Only $45,499!

A certain US dealership is selling Ford Mustang GTs at a bargain price of only $45,499. For those within the area, they are available at the Lebanon Ford in Ohio.

The Lebanon Ford dealership in Ohio has already made headlines before. In the past, they offered brand new 727-horsepower Mustang GTs for only $39,997. Their latest offer is an even better deal!

First featured on The Drive, Motor Authority reported that the Lebanon Ford is currently offering 2017 Ford Mustang GTs fitted with Hellion twin-turbocharging system and capable of1,200-horsepower for only $45,499. This is exclusive of on-road costs, but it is already inclusive of all parts plus the extra labor costs of installing them. The all-in package includes the Mustang GT, the turbocharging system, a Basani cat-back exhaust, and Ford Racing 47 lb/hr fuel injectors.

The turbocharging system was developed by Hellion of Albuquerque, New Mexico in a joint effort with the Lebanon Ford Performance team. It is designed to offer a 5 to 30 psi boost range. At its base of 5 psi, which most car owners are accustomed to run their cars at, the car can do 550 horsepower.

An additional upgrade will enable the Ford Mustang GT's 5.0-liter engine to produce more horsepower up to 1,200 with the supporting mods. Torque News further added that Lebanon Ford has clarified that "with supporting mods," the in-house twin turbocharged Hellion system can make around 1,200 horsepower. However, the actual output may be much lower as the package is only allegedly "capable" of 1,200 horsepower but does not the supporting mods from the dealership.

This does not mean that the under $50,000 deal for a 2017 Ford Mustang GT is not a good deal. In fact, its starting power levels come with a 550 rear-wheel horsepower range. This may also be preferred as the extra mods will likely burn out the engine and the rest of the drivetrain sooner without serious reinforcements. Additionally, the upgrade will also void any and all powertrain warranties.
