Super Bowl 51: Falcons Failed to Take Home Vince Lombardy Trophy

The Super Bowl 51 is all over, and unfortunately, the Atlanta Falcons failed to bring home the Vince Lombardy Trophy against the New England Patriots. The Atlanta Falcons were leading 28-3 at the first half of the game, but after the halftime break, the Patriots fought to win the championship. The game ended for the Patriots with a 34-28 victory.

The predominantly Atlanta Falcons fans were rejoicing while watching Lady Gaga during the halftime show. They are all excited since the Falcons got their biggest lead in the history. Then comes the second half where the Patriots played so aggressively. They were eager to achieve their 5th win in the Superbowl history.

NFL News mentioned that a miscalculation made by the Falcons during the last 4 minutes of the game proved to be very costly for the team, especially when Trey Flowers sacked Ryans thrice in the crucial moments of the game. Winning the Super Bowl 51 could have made the Falcons as the champions with the most points in a season but things didn't go as planned for them.

According to Entertainment Today, with excellent plays and excellent passes from quarterback Tom Brady, they started to climb from the hole they were buried in. Nobody in Super Bowl history has ever climbed back to win trailing 25 points. And Super Bowl 51 made history.

Us Weekly reported that the Patriots started to nip on the lead in the 3rd quarter. They continued to score. Brady and his quarterbacks refused to go down without a fight. This got the fans worried but with under a minute remaining, the Patriots scored a touchdown. And Super Bowl 51 became the first Super Bowl in history to end in overtime. The Patriots clinched the game in overtime making Brady the first quarterback in the history of Super Bowl to win 5 rings.

Lady Gaga entertained the fans during the halftime break. Her performance is so full of energy that it mesmerized all the fans watching. She sang her greatest hits which included "Born this Way," "Poker Face" and "Just Dance."

All the advertisements and press releases about the Super Bowl 51 were all worth it. Super Bowl 51, Brady and Ryans became the trending topics in Twitter and most social media platforms. Indeed, the Super Bowl 51 is a truly success.
