2017 Chevrolet Colorado Boasts Of Powerful V-6 Engine For Considerably Lower Price Tag!

The 2017 Chevrolet Colorado is another addition to the elite vehicles of the American car manufacturer. This mid-size pickup truck is considered an easy choice for those who prefers this type of vehicle. It is more powerful but less expensive, making it extra-appealing to the practical buyers.

According to Car and Driver, most of the mid-size pickup trucks available in the market hover around the $45,000 range. The 2017 Chevrolet Colorado LT trim, however, is reasonable for being priced at $34,465 base price. This is relatively a more economical price for a powerful pickup truck. Definitely not a bad option for a vehicle belonging to the mid-size pickup category.

This is something that should be considered because more often than not, quality doesn't have to come with a hefty price tag. In this case, quality meets economy which is precisely why the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado is expected to become bigger and more popular.

As added by Motor Trend, the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado also has an option of a second-generation DOHC V-6 engine with cylinder deactivation. It is also paired with an 8L45 eight-speed transmission.

The 2017 Chevrolet Colorado is an entry level pickup which sits below the Silverado. It's big brother, the Silverado is doing well in the market, so the Colorado is expected to perform the same way in terms of car sales and market movement.

It is also considered one of the safest mid-size pickup truck because of its four out of five stars given by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or NHTSA. The rating consists of various crash tests such as a frontal crash, side impact, and rollover safety. It got four stars for frontal crash, perfect five stars for side-impact and three stars for rollover.

The Chevrolet Colorado has also been the site's Truck of the Year for two years. This speaks highly of the vehicle. Consumer and expert ratings are in agreement for it being one of the best mid-size pickup available in the market.

The 2017 Chevrolet Colorado is one that can be considered in more ways than one. Its powerful engine is enough to perform its designated task for carrying and transporting cargo with a car-like ride. Pickups often times are associated with a bumpy and uncomfortable ride, but that is not the case for the new Colorado. It is not a perfect vehicle, just like the rest but it is as close to it as it can get.
