Choosing between the 2017 Subaru Forester vs. 2017 Honda CRV  is a tough choice for first-time car buyers. Both cars carry five people comfortably. They drive nicely on the town and off roads. Aside from fuel efficiency which is a big factor in choosing a car, what can we expect from this two?

2017 Subaru Forester. Though Subaru fans only see a few subtle changes on the 2017 Subaru Forester, its performance makes it fascinating. Interested buyers can choose from both four cylinders with one having the 2.5 liter that carries a punch of 170 HP and the other the 2.0 liters with a power of 250.

This will guarantee a powered and smooth driving experience. There is a slight difference in their fuel efficiency since the 2.5-liter engine has a fuel efficiency of 26 to 32 miles per gallon while the 2.0-liter engine will give you 23 to 27 miles for a gallon depending on where you are driving.

Kelly Blue Book reported that the 2017 Subaru Forester comes with a six-speed manual transmission. Its four-wheel drive hugs the pavement for a very comfortable ride. It carries five passengers that make it an ideal car for the family.

2017 Honda CRV. The 2017 Honda CRV is built better and quicker compared to its brothers. According to Motortrend article, this beauty fitted with a 1.5-liter 4 cylinder engine that will give you 184 HP under its hood.

It comes in different automatic transmission for ease in shifting. Although built slightly bigger, it can still carry comfortably 5 people. The added inches will compensate for a larger legroom in the back.

The car could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 7.5 seconds. It would give you 25 to 34 miles per gallon depending if you are driving within the city or speeding it up on the highway. For those who love traveling, the 2017 Honda CRV has bigger space for your travel bags and other needs. This will assure comfort and relax driving.
