Game of Thrones x Infiniti Q60: Kit Harington Recites Poetry While Driving The Car In The North [VIDEO]

Game of Thrones Actor Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow on the HBO original series, is an endorser of many products. One of his many commercials is for the Infiniti Q60.

2017 Infiniti Q60 Commercial. The ad shows a gorgeous 2017 Infiniti Q60 in a shiny red color. The Night's Watch's former Lord Commander steps inside.

He surprisingly starts reciting William Blake's 1794 poem "The Tyger" in a very dramatic fashion. While doing so, he sounds very much like his character Jon Snow. He continues driving in a very intense manner, maneuvering gracefully and confidently at top speed. At the end of the commercial, he has a shocked and satisfied look on his face.

Carscoops reported that Jon Snow may "know nothing," but that doesn't mean he knows nothing about the success of his car. The site further reports that the Game of Thrones actor was likely paid a good chunk of the company's budget to make the Infiniti Q60 more popular.

Infiniti Q60. According to Car and Driver, Kit Harington's Jon Snow reciting poetry was not enough to make this car great. But they further elaborate by saying that the class in which the Q60 is placed in, luxury sports coupes, does not have its own king. Strong competitors for the title would include the Cadillac ATC coupe, the Lexus RC, the Mercedes-Benz's new C-class coupe, and the Audi A5 and S5.

The luxury coupe comes in four different models, with the base car having a starting price at $39,855. In addition, it is powered by a 208 horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Not too shabby as a base car for Jon Snow. The range topper is the Red Sport 400. This is the model that Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington was seen driving in the commercial. There is also a rear-drive version of the Red Sport 400 that starts at $51,300, while the all-wheel drive costs an extra $2,000.

Its V6 engine revs quickly and has minimal turbo lag. The Red Sport 400 is speedy and makes a lot of high-pitched intake sounds but has minimal exhaust noise. But the best part about Jon Snow's ride is its suspension. Called "Dynamic Digital Suspension," it utilizes an adaptive system that has unequal length control arm front as well as multilink rear setup with computer-operated dampers. This delivers a compliant ride that makes the Q60 truly stand out in its class.

To be crowned the king of the luxury coupes, absolute greatness is not needed. Like the Game of Thrones actor's character, the coupe only needs to best its rivals. The 2017 Infiniti Q60 is a worthy challenger to take the crown.
