2012 Hennessey Venom GT Spyder Owned By Steven Tyler Sold At $800,000 For Tyler's Foundation

Famous Aerosmith vocalist and Marshfield inhabitant Steven Tyler, sold his 2012 Hennessey Venom GT Spyder for $800,000. The rock legend will donate all the money to his foundation, Janie's Fund, which is committed to giving assets to help abused young ladies. The supercar was sold at the popular Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction at WestWorld in Scottsdale, Arizona on Jan. 20.

Steven Tyler's own 2012 Hennessey Venom GT Spyder, equipped with a 1,244 hp 7.0-liter LS7 V8 motor, crossed the auction event and completed in all dark everything. It's number five of 12 manufactured and the first of the Spyder versions to enter production.

Janie's Found, made by Tyler and in association with Youth Villages, has an objective to help recuperate young ladies that have been abused and experienced injury harmful situations. Charity autos have for some time been a piece of Barrett-Jackson's character, with its 46 years of existence, it has raised over $91 million.

Furthermore, Tyler is not a newbie when it comes to helping out the community. This past Christmas, he gave many present cards to the Marshfield Food Bank. In years past, Tyler has additionally contributed toys and different gifts to Community Christmas, a nonprofit association that helps Marshfield families in need amid the Christmas season.

Steven Tyler said in a statement, "We raised enough tonight to provide 20,000 days of therapeutic support to abused girls across America. As a father to three daughters, a son, and now a grandfather, it broke my heart to learn that each year in America alone, 700,000 children are victims of serious abuse or neglect, and 68,000 will be sexually abused."

Tyler paid $1.1 million for his 2012 Hennessey Venom GT Spyder way back in 2012, so the fortunate buyer appears to have made it off like a criminal in the deal. To sweeten the arrangement, the Aerosmith lead vocalist even gave a guitar signed by every member of the band and a weeklong stay in his Hawaii mansion.
