The Refreshed 2018 Subaru Legacy Version To Be Showcased At The 2017 Chicago Auto Show

The refreshed 2018 Subaru Legacy will have one of its first public appearance at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show this month of February. The 2017 CAS showcases the best and latest vehicles by top car manufacturers the world over and Subaru's star vehicle is one of those to be shown.

According to Motor Trend, the refreshed 2018 Subaru Legacy features styling changes and an improved CVT. It is also more updated for having an impressive and improved infotainment system which sets it apart from other Subaru vehicles. All of its changes makes this all-wheel drive sedan extremely competitive.

The refreshed 2018 Subaru Legacy still has the same 2.5-liter flat-four engine and the 3.6-liter flat-six engine but has more improved CVT on the 2.5-liter engine. It makes for a quieter ultra-short pitch chain and adjusted engine timing. This is one of the best developments ever made in a Subaru car to date.

It also comes with improved styling materials with a redesigned console. It even makes the whole appeal to a much sportier level by having a sporty-looking steering wheel. Subaru's latest Starlink multimedia provides better and faster performance with eight additional apps and smartphone integration. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard as well.

It is also highly impressive for an even better chassis which contributes to its superior comfort and drivability. The suspension is noteworthy with dampers returned to reduce initial impacts on road bumps.

As added by Kelley Blue Book, one of the most obvious changes would be the bolder grille and the bumper treatment adds an ounce more of aggressiveness which intricately blends well with restyled C-shaped headlamps running on Konoji LED lights. It also comes with redesigned alloy wheels and two of the most high-profile colors, Crimson Red Pearl and Magnetite Gray Metallic.

The refreshed 2018 Subaru Legacy is reported to have more room for passengers. Not only is it roomy, it is also more advanced with its sound-attenuating film on the front side glass, more aerodynamic mirrors and thicker rear-wheel aprons for reduced noise.

The refreshed 2018 Subaru Legacy is expected to be a scene-stealer during the 2017 Chicago Auto Show. Subaru is well-known for its extremely efficient and best-performing sedans and the updated Legacy is one of it. It is not called Legacy for nothing in the first place. It lives up to the legacy of Subaru for being one of the best over several years.
