ZenBook 3 vs. MacBook Face Off: See Which Laptop Wins The Battle!

The two of the best and toughest laptops have oftentimes been compared. ZenBook 3 and MacBook has been a long-time competition and may many are curious as to which is the best among the two. MacBook is clearly the original, Asus followed Apple's thinnest laptop to date. However, Asus not only followed, it innovated which leaves buyers confused to which is the device worth purchasing between the two.

According to Laptop Mag, in terms of design, the two are known to be insanely thin of its kind. ZenBook 3 is made of typical aluminum which is reported to be 50 percent stronger. It only weighs two pounds and measures 11.65 x 7.53 x 0.47 inches thick. MacBook is slightly heavier measuring 2.03 pounds. This is extremely close and change is unnoticeable at all. It measures 11.04 x 7.74 x 0.14 to 0.52 inches.

For those who prefer a device with readily available ports, then both MacBook and ZenBook 3 will not be a choice at all. Both only use a single USB-C port which is ultimately used for charging. The two laptops have to use an external device to accommodate all existing devices. Good news, though Asus has a Mini Dock which comes with the package so no need for additional purchase. MacBook has nothing like it which comes in the box so additional purchase it required.

The 12.5-inch display of the ZenBook is bigger than that of MacBook's for only measuring 12-inches. In terms of crispness of display, Apple's device wins by a mile for having 2304 x 1440 pixels compared to Asus' 1920 x 1080 pixels. The difference is clearly noticeable. Images and videos appear ultra sharp when viewed using Apple's bet.

For audio, ZenBook 3 is louder compared to MacBook's. Asus' device has more audio balance and has more speakers which make for pleasing listening quality. When MacBook clearly wins on display, ZenBook made up through its audio.

As added by Digital Trends, the most important aspect is its price. For $999, the ZenBook 3 is more powerful in terms of processing compared to MacBook's $1299 price tag. Sure Apple has tons of loyal supporters, but given this, some may even have a change of heart.

At the end of the day, the battle will never stop between ZenBook 3 and the MacBook. The comparison is mainly to give buyers an idea to which one fares better in terms of various buying requirements. Definitely, MacBook is original and the ZenBook is the follower. While many would stick to the original version, many would still consider the more powerful and cheaper copycat.

MacBook and Zenbook 3 equally weighs in terms of what it can offer to buyers. However, sticking to the facts, ZenBook 3 wins. Value for money and more inclusions in the box somehow killed the chances of MacBook. The problem is with Apple, everything else needs to be purchased separately. With everyone being smart in terms of buying behavior, that will definitely not sit well with the practical buyers.
