PlayStation VR Restock Announcement: Exclusive PSVR Bundles from GameStop and EB Games

hThe PlayStation VR finally has a restock announcement! Gamers may now grab a PSVR headset with two bundle options from GameStop.

Sony has recently announced that it will be bringing back the PS VR bundle (formerly known as the "Launch Bundle"). Previously, the PS VR Launch Bundle was only available for preorder before the headset was officially launched in October.

The Japanese gaming company first released their PS VR console and bundles in October 2016. It was the first ever console-based virtual reality headset in the market. It had a price of $399 for just the headset and a Launch Bundle price of $499.99.

The bundle includes the headset itself, a PlayStation camera, two PS Move controllers (which can be used with select game titles), PlayStation VR Worlds (a collection of games), and a VR demo disc. This does not come with a PS4 which needs to be purchased separately. The bundle will officially be released in stores next week for $500. This will be exclusive to GameStop and EB Games.

The gaming console received a lot of mixed reactions where some gamers immediately loved the console while others hated it. In addition, Sony was also not able to meet the demand for it because it has been out of stock for quite some time.

In addition, Sony will also offer a new bundle soon. It will be themed around Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, the on-rails shooter that is a spinoff of Until Dawn. This will be available "later this month," according to GameSpot.

Based on the reviews of the Until Dawn: Rush of Blood game, this bundle is definitely worth getting for those who don't have a PSVR yet. While the PS VR Worlds does feature an amusing collection of games, it is an ultimately forgettable VR experience. Until Dawn will definitely excite gamers and the VR experience will be worth the wait.

In other PlayStation news, the official titles for February 2017 have been revealed and two of them are for the PlayStation VR. These titles are "Dexed" and "Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin." Dexed was already released on February 1 while Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin won't be released until Feb. 21.
