Hugh Jackman Gets Star On Hollywood Walk of Fame, Joined By Anne Hathaway, Other ‘Les Miserables’ Co Stars (VIDEO)

Hugh Jackman was presented with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this week, just hours after being nominated for a Golden Globe.

The actor was nominated for Best Actor in a comedy or musical for his work in "Les Miserables." Costars like Anne Hathaway and Amanda Seyfried joined Jackman on his special day just a few weeks before the film premieres on Christmas day.

"It's kind of a surreal day," Jackman said to E! News. "I'll probably always remember Thursday, Dec. 13 and I think I'm either going straight from here to buy a lottery ticket or to a casino because it just feels like someone is looking down on me in a very nice way at this moment."

The actor is well known for his work in the "X-Men" movies playing Wolverine, which he has played over five times. Jackman has also been in movies like "Australia," "The Prestige" and "Kate & Leopold."

Jackman was also was nominated for a SAG award earlier this week for "Les Miserables" as well. He is only the 2,487th actor or actress to get their name for enshrined on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

He has also won a Tony Award in 2004 for his work in "The Boy From Oz," and earned a special Tony in 2012 for contribution to the theater community and hosting the Tony awards three times.

"I don't believe wealth and fame changes anybody, I think it just exaggerates who you already are," said Jay Leno at the event according to The Los Angeles Times. "And I think all your wealth and success and fame and all these things have just made you more of the better person you are."

Jackman's wife Deborra-Lee Furness and kids Ava and Oscar were present at the ceremony as well.
