The successor for McLaren 650S is making its advance debut as its alleged image has surfaced online. Prior to its official launch at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March, the new flagship has apparently shown up giving the fans its first glance of its new design.

The name for the McLaren 650S successor has not been revealed but many speculated it will carry the name "720S." Apparently, a photo showing a new car named 720S has emerged at Instagram. Autobant took to its Instagram account a photo showing the profile of a new car which it has captioned to be the "aggressive McLaren 720S."

The image reveals that the successor seems to be more classy and neat than its predecessor. The new car has a cropped area on top of the rear lights. Compared to the 650S, the image reveals the new car has a full width at the rear as extended by the rear wings, which is traditionally known to perform as an air-brake for the car.

This rear wing is also integrated with a rear diffuser, like the one found on the previous McLaren P1, which is in charge of generating 50 percent increase in the downforce.

Furthermore, the leaked image confirms that the new car's roofline carries McLaren's latest carbon fiber structure dubbed as Monocage II. This latest central structure is expected to weigh lighter than the predecessor's carbon fiber and metal cockpit concept. The new Monocage II reportedly weighs 1,283kg only, which is 18kg less than the predecessor.

Noticeably, the stunning Group C-style view from the windscreen can also be spotted in the image. This confirms that McLaren will continue to utilize this feature in its Super Series range, Evo reported.
