2020 Ford Bronco Definitely Built Tough; Reportedly Have Solid Front And Rear Axles To Name A Few!

The 2020 Ford Bronco is definitely one to watch out for. Many car enthusiasts had their hearts beating out of their chests as it was introduced during the recently concluded Detroit Auto Show earlier this month. The truck promises to be one of the best Ford will ever produce and is expected to be a big hit in the market upon its official release.

According to Road and Track, the NAIAS or the North American International Auto Show in Detroit earlier this month was all about Ford trucks. This is when the 2020 Ford Bronco was introduced which offered participants a good sneak peak of what the truck can do and its improvements. The 2019 Ford Ranger was also introduced during the said event.

It is confirmed that the 2020 Bronco will be built on the 2019 Ford Ranger's frame. All versions of the truck will ride on a 126.8-inch wheelbase with a 73.2-inch wide body. This is following the dimensions of the European Ranger.

As added by CNET, Ford promised that the Bronco would be a proper off-roader. It is also expected the achieve the status of a full-on four-wheeler because of a solid front and rear axles. Dana Investor reportedly was commissioned to build the axles for both 2019 Ranger and the 2020 Bronco. Both vehicles will also feature state-of-the-art Dana axles.

The Bronco was originally created to be the direct competitor of Jeep CJ so car enthusiasts are waiting in anticipation for the comeback in 2020. This is supposed to a battle of the two upon official release. The Wrangler has sported a pair of stick axles which included Dana 44 on certain models. However, it is not sure if the 2020 Ford Bronco would have the same setup.

The axles are reportedly manufactured in Toledo, OH plant which will also be producing axles for the next generation Jeep Wrangler. The future seems interestingly exciting as it is no longer a battle of horsepower but as to who is the King of off-roading.

While 2020 Ford Bronco full specifications and detailed information are still not readily available, the analysis of car critics and car enthusiasts may suffice for the meantime. It is exciting to know, however, that off-roading may be the future of driving in few years to come.
