Jaguar has been trying to make a mark in the North American market by updating its current models and adding new additions to the car lineup. The latest updates confirm Jaguar's spot in the luxury car segment as the company announces more attractive features and service packages for most of its models.
Speaking of new models, the 2017 Jaguar XE just added another one to its growing lineup. As reported by Motor Authority, notable changes in the new model are the new lightweight aluminum body and the availability of three engine options: the turbocharged inline-4 gasoline engine, the supercharged V-6 gasoline engine and the turbocharged inline-4 diesel engine.
The 2017 Jaguar XE also gets the standard 8-speed automatic transmission, new infotainment system and electronic drive assist systems that include park assist, cross-traffic alert, blind spot and collision warning, and adaptive cruise control.
Jaguar is keeping the same features for two of its models. The 2017 Jaguar XF and 2017 Jaguar XJ will not be sporting new changes but a 2018 Jaguar XF with a wagon body is expected to be introduced later this year.
Exciting changes have been done on the 2017 Jaguar F-Pace including the new lightweight aluminum construction. The car is now available with the supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 gasoline engine and 8-speed automatic transmission with AWD functionality. The new infotainment system is also in place.
The Activity Key will also be installed in the 2017 Jaguar F-Pace. This waterproof, easy access vehicle technology allows the keys to be locked inside the car while the user is engaged in some activity outside the car. Adaptive cruise control and the complete set of electronic driving aids are also made available in this model.
The 2017 Jaguar F-Type will be powered by the supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 engine. The option for the manual transmission reduces the price of this model.
The Jaguar F-Type comes with six-way adjusting seats, suede-cloth trim, valet mode, Meridian surround audio, and satellite navigation. Jaguar keeps its cars fitted with new features and service packages to improve its position in the luxury car market.
