Toyota Motors Indiana Plant Expansion In 2019; Promises A Lot Of New Job Opportunities!

Toyota Motors Indiana Plant expansion promises to create a lot of new job opportunities to neighboring cities and practically everywhere in the U.S. This is one of the greatest developments the Japanese car manufacturer has for millions who are always tuned in to what it has to offer. Such expansion is to answer the demands of producing more vehicles, especially its Highlander line.

According to Auto News, the expansion is worth a total of $600 million worth investments for the expansion of its Princeton, Indiana plant. The project is set to begin fall of 2019. Such expansion is Toyota' answer to Donald Trump's campaign for more U.S. made vehicles.

Toyota was singled out by Trump through Twitter. This is apparently because of their investments in Mexico. It is a given that Trump is serious about his campaign for "America First," which prioritizes investments and job opportunities centered in the U.S. before expanding to other countries.

This definitely is good business for the U.S. The Toyota Motors Indiana Plant expansion promises to create at least 400 jobs more. This will also increase the Toyota Highlander production by 40,000 units. Currently, the Toyota Sienna and Sequoia lines are produced in the Indiana plant.

Toyota Motors also has its plant in Tijuana, Mexico which produces the Tacoma midsize pickup truck. The Tijuana plant is currently undergoing a $150 million expansion to increase its pickup truck expansion to 160,000 per year, 60,000 more compared to its current 100,000 units produced.

As added by CNBC, the Indiana plant is the second largest of out 10 Toyota US plants. It currently has 5,100 employees and last year produced around 402,000 vehicles. The Indiana plant is projected to increase the production of Toyota Highlander by 17 percent. The expansion would add more job opportunities to the plant which currently operates in two shifts.

Toyota Motors Indiana Plant expansion may most likely satisfy Donald Trump's desire to invest in the U.S for more job opportunities. This also is a big promise for those who are living blindly, not knowing where to get the means to sustain basic needs as unemployment has significantly increased in the U.S in recent times. Other countries may suffer from Trump's intentions of bringing all jobs back to the U.S., but the end may justifies the means.
